Back in 2018, I had the honour of working on Love, Death and Robots: Helping Hand Season 1. I was involved in the exploration phase from the beginning, creating many unpublished sculpts of the main character in different styles. I am very happy that the little colibri on her shoulder / an original concept of mine / managed to survive till the very end.
I was responsible for Alexandra — handling sculpting, texturing, shading, and corrective blendshapes — and led an incredibly talented team in the Character Department.
I was also responsible for creating all phases of the hand — from breaking to frozen states — modelling, texturing, shading. Initial modelling - Julen Urrutia.
Meanwhile, I was also responsible for carrying my second son, who was named Alexander / and no, not after her / :D
A year later, I had the unforgettable experience of walking the red carpet and stepping on stage to accept the BAFTA Scotland Award on behalf of the team.
Still one of the most extraordinary moments of my career.
